April 21, 200620 yr I now only fly in the VC. However, I find that there are only a few a/c that have very clear VC's . What a/c (freeware or payware) have crystal clear VC's - ones that it is difficult to distinguish the VC panel from the 2d panel - or preferably a/c that don't even need a 2D panel.RegardsBarry
April 21, 200620 yr PMDG 737 and 747, Ricks amazing HS748, Eaglesoft Citation X, Dreamfleet A36 and Baron 58those are my favorites and all can be flown in the VC without ever touching the 2d panels.
April 21, 200620 yr RealAir SF-260 and from what I have heard, the new Scout, Decathlon, Citabria combo. They have the ultra smooth VC gauges and even have an option to remove the 2D panel and only have the mini panel for 2D. I haven't found a better VC yet, and plan on picking up the 3 Aircraft combo as soon as I find the bucks.
April 21, 200620 yr All three of the RealAir packages (the SF260, Spitfire, and Decathlon/Scout/Citabria) feature great, sharp VCs with Guages that update as smoothly as pretty much any 2D panel and that remain incredibly crisp and sharp even when you zoom right in on them. They are also very easy on the framerates...
April 21, 200620 yr Real air's aircrafts and Flight1's ATR, Eaglsoft's Cirrus SR20 and SR22, PMDG 747, Flight 1's 172R... what else...But there is none for Piper Seminole or Piper Seneca I which I badly want :(MannyPS: Try VC with Active Camera. You can download it and try it around the KSEA Seattle area. Turn on the head latency option within Active Camera... It really enhances the VC. I became a VC person because of head latency. I think Real Air's aircrafts come with head latency option s already. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
April 21, 200620 yr looks like the CS757I regularly fly the LDS 767, PMDG744 and PSS777 from the vc exclusively regards,Markhttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a319/mar.../sup_banner.jpgXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1024mb/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
April 21, 200620 yr yes it's the CS757, the best looking VC I've had (notice I didnt say best functioning) but it does the job and looks great
April 22, 200620 yr the PSS777 is probably the worst when it comes to clarity in VC. I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
April 22, 200620 yr For normal ops - I do - using only the required fmc popup, unless that does not count?regards,Markhttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a319/mar.../sup_banner.jpgXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1024mb/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
April 22, 200620 yr If you mean lettering etc, yes, some parts are very blurry especially on the FO's side but the displays are clear as crystal. This a/c in particular is easy to fly from the vc.regards,Markhttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a319/mar.../sup_banner.jpgXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1024mb/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
April 22, 200620 yr Captain Sim 757 bar none. nobody else has come close to the level of quality they got (in an airliner). then i love the f1 atr.PMDG overhead is weak and their textures are all around lacking... PSS777 as much as you try to defend is blurry. however it gives you the best frame rates i've seen and is generally very well made. textures are sad however. leveld is a hit and miss. crystal clear gauges and decent overhead. the actual shapes though are 1998 in appearance. side windows, panel details etc.
April 22, 200620 yr Has anyone tried Wilco's CRJ2004 series? I installed it recently and though I dont use VC Cabin, their VC cockpits are relatively very heavy on FPS taking details and complexity of the pit and equipment. Is anything wrong with it? I was going to buy ERJ series but if it has the same 3D VC coding, I'd rather abstain. Amazing how smooth gauges, displays and FPS are in virtual cockpits of Level-D B767, PMDG's B-747 taking their complexity. Am I doing anything wrong or any tweaks are missing for my Wilco's/FeelThere CRJs?
