See my post above yours though, I don't think it's working as intended at the moment. No it's not. It dynamically injects the cloud textures. Dynamic sky textures will be a feature of Environment Force, as the rex developers said on official forum.

If you're going to do a proper test with the other weather engine, simply go into Sky Force/3D Models/ and install them. Then install textures. Disable the SF weather engine, and leave SF open. Then open the other weather engine and conduct the tests. Do not at any time open ASCA. Tim FuchsManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com

Best wishes everyone. Looking forward to it! Since you were a beta tester of SkyForce I think your review may be of great interest because you probably know how everything works and what the options are. I read too many 'reviews' of people who clearly have no idea what they are doing or how SkyForce is supposed to work and that isn't helping to make a proper decision. (I wanted to add a winking smiley here but the forum software is utterly sllllooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww today so I will post it without one.)

(I wanted to add a winking smiley here but the forum software is utterly sllllooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww today so I will post it without one.) Just a small correction. I was not a Beta Tester for Sky Force. I was accepted as a Beta Tester for it, and I Beta Tested other REX products, and had long detailed technical discussions with Reed about Sky Force for 2 or more years. I asked to see the program many times, I was supposed to Beta Test it. But I learned of it's release the same way that everyone else did. My relationship with REX has been failing apart over the past 6 months for many fundamental concerns (which I won't air in public, and one shouldn't based a purchase decision on), and when I learned that they'd released the software without so much as giving me as a Beta Tester a look at the product, I contacted Reed, who then offered to provide me with a release copy. I thanked him, and declined, and severed all ties to REX. I'll give Sky Force a really good and fair review, and no NDA applies as REX broke their agreement with me thus rendering it null and void - which honestly doesn't matter, but I thought the community might judge the review as unbiased knowing that. Best wishes. Dave Hodges System Specs: I9-13900KF, NVIDIA 4070TI, Quest 3, Multiple Displays, Lots of TERRIFIC friends, 3 cats, and a wonderfully stubborn wife.
January 2, 20188 yr Apologies for the mistaken screenshot - honest mistake. The ASCA screenshots were correct, the SkyForce ones were not. This time I closed down P3D, wiped the shader cache, restored the original textures from the backup, and then installed the 3d models, after which I installed the textures (I chose texture set 10 for clouds). Here are the results. First one is on the ground, the other two are at 10,000ft. These look absolutely amazing. But a quick couple of questions for @timest: I assume the models are injected automatically as the weather changes during your flight - but the textures are "static", correct? So you choose the texture set that looks best and that stays as is until you manually change it? Secondly, is there any way I can make that anvil look a little more "sharp-edged" (personal preference) - I mean, is that something I can do on my side? Here's the pics. Sorry for the mistake earlier, editing the original post now too: Intel Core i7 8700k clocked to 4.6GHz, GTX1080Ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM, MSFS installed on NVMe drive, Windows 11, Dell 27" 60Hz Monitor + Dell 24" 60Hz Monitor. January 2, 20188 yr Tim I tried posting at your forum but I can't get my password activation email (I'm guessing your servers are busy). When I download the REX download manager I get the app hanging. Ever seen anything like this?
