I noticed that also, still a very nice aircraft, hopefully gets updated. The only disappointment for me was the VC texture quality, but externally it's VERY nice and is very FPS friendly. I like the classic 737s. Cheers, Rob.

I just landed it in EDDK, with winds gusting to 55kts from the side... ;-) Quite a challenge, but I made it down in one piece! ;-) I´m quite sure that Jack will take care of the problems regarding the flight model. Concerning the VC though, I have to say, that I´m absolutely blown away by the texturing and overall quality...

January 18, 20188 yr Holy smokes! I'm going to pick this one up. I've been waiting on a decent jet for XP11. Robert J. January 19, 20188 yr Thank you Michael. That may be the reason for the problem I'm having. I don't know. It just doesn't seem to have any "feel" to it right now. Most aircraft, you can kind of feel when it's rolling over but for me this seems to roll over easier than flying wings level. I'm thinking there must be something that I have set wrong. I'll keep messing with it. Robert Yunque PilotEdge Ratings = CAT-11 (2016-09-13) I-11 (2016-10-23) V-3 (2016-08-01)

Other than that (and I even got used to this strange ground effect after a few flights), the B732 “feels” very nice and believable. You might want to have a look at the calibration, stability augmentation and curve setting of you controller in XP11.

I forgot that I had a control knob set to my aileron trim and it was way over to the left. No wonder I couldn't hand fly the aircraft! Once I centered the aileron trim it flies like a dream. I just did a complete flight (my first) from KIDA to KSEA using just VORs. It did absolutely perfect. Now I'm addicted to it also. I can't wait to do another flight. Thank you for all of your suggestions. Bob Robert Yunque PilotEdge Ratings = CAT-11 (2016-09-13) I-11 (2016-10-23) V-3 (2016-08-01)

(I’ve also answered to your constant click sound issue topic on the org forum, provided that the “signmanbob” there is you ;-) ) Very glad, you’ve got it sorted and that you can enjoy this beautiful aircraft!
January 19, 20188 yr Hey folks, just a little FYI re the "heavy feel" on the 737-200. I have over 5,000 hrs both left seat and right seat in this plane. Flew it at SWA, till we phased them out. One of the characteristics I loved on this plane, was a "sports car" type feel to the controls, You could easily fly her with fingertip control. Just a joy to fly. Based on what I have heard thus far of the flight model description, sounds like the flight characteristics are pretty spot on. I don't have the plane, nor XP11, someday perhaps. I am very familiar with the 737-200. When flying the aircraft, it's easier to use Fuel Flows rather than EPR's. If we wanted to maintain 250kts straight level, set 2500 lbs on the fuel flow. If memory serves, I believe once we configured to flaps 30, 2500lbs would work well for approach as well. Flaps 40, seems like I remember around 2800-3000lbs FF for approach. This will get you in the ballpark, if the flight model is close to Boeing specs; I suspect that it will be. We just used EPR for takeoff/go-around settings. If she's like the 737-200 I flew at SWA, you folks will have a blast with her. Another trick we used on landing was the "push" due to the CG location. Just right before touchdown, push forward on the yoke a little, if you time it right.....greaser every time! Have Fun! Best, David

Bob, who had the issue with the “too light on the controls” had a problem with wrongly assigned control axis on his hardware. He has got it sorted, and is now enjoying the plane! I had 2 flights in a B733 full flight sim at Lufthansa training center, and was surprised, how sensitive and direct the airplane reacted! People tend to believe, that bigger planes tend to fly extremely sluggish. My first full flight sim experience was in a A320 simulator, and while the controls itself (the stick and the pedals) felt way different to the cheap plastic parts we use on our desks (plus the real ones have a longer way of movement!), the reaction to the inputs was so direct! As a former B732 pilot, you should get the FJS Twinjet v3. I really love this addon, as it truly immerses you with the feel of being there! :-) And I will try your suggestions and figures for sure! :-)
