Scenery

Featured Replies

Just curious if there is any rumors regarding ortho/photorealistic like scenery in the future plans for P3d.  I haven't heard of anything so I am guessing there is nothing in the works but I thought I would check to see.  I'd be interested in the USA primarily.   I know Megascenery earth, but to me that doesn't look good at lower altitudes.

Isn't that announcement only European stuff?  I didn't see anything for the US

JV said they will do at least the US part of PNW photorealistic. May come true or not, ORBX does change directions sometimes.

I think future developments, e.g. further South, will depend on the sales of PNW Photo.

ORBX Photo Germany for Prepar3d has already been cancelled. Too many naysayers in the forum. Might be realized for AeroflyFS2 - perhaps.

Kind regards, Michael

"Do tell ?"

Can't just yet.  Trust me, I wish it was at that point to make "the" announcement.  But alas, I must cobble a bit more in my flightsim hangar before posting a screenie or two.  Ya know how it is... ya make some big announcement only to see add-on become vaperware.  I want get beyond that point.

Hi Clutch,

Hah - I was just pulling your chain - still recall those fantastic pictures of your little project posted on April 1... Best of luck with it...
