That is a pretty cool video!

Thanks, I am glad you like it. I could have done a better job of it. It was a bit rushed and I got the time wrong and only noticed later. Can't remember exactly but I got my AM and PM mixed up so of course the weather is wrong too. I am almost tempted to do it again but It would take hours. Here is another FlyTampa CYYZ one for your entertainment. This is a fantastic scenery and I would highly recommend it. If you have high end hardware you can tweak this this scenery and get a steady 30fps on approach in a PMDG aircraft:

Yep, got it, but no word on v4 compatibility...

All of the Simaddons add-on airports have a P3Dv4 version, but they are not sold individually.  They come in three packages, one each for western, central, and eastern Canada.

They're of fair quality, and pretty pricey, but in many cases the only game in town.

Regards

Thanks for this tip - that looks pretty good and price is right!  Any tricks to get it into 4.2 or just point the installer in the right direction?

No tricks, I extracted the scenery file and then added it manually to the scenery library.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

The Orbx FTX Global NA Airports freeware pack has a nice CYQT in it.

Why don`t you try it. How is the installer? Can you specify the folder location of your sim? If can add in any folder, Create one. Than, you just might copy everything to the specific folder on the sim.

I don't own the scenery yet but yes it should work !

Yep, pricey [precisely because they're the only option.

I have Simaddons's CYTZ and it is ok, but the best version I have found is actually by CanadaSim. He did the best job on the cityscape for downtown Toronto that I have seen, and because of Billy Bishop's location it adds a lot to the immersion, especially on a night flight. Unfortunately, it doesn't say it has a v4 installer, but I have it working fine in 4.2.

I just bought CYTZ by CanadaSim, 50% off on PCAviator until the end of March  !

Does it work with v4 though?  The site says up v3

It definitely works in v4.1, unsure of v4.2 though.

Did you only run the installer or manually add it ?

Manually added this, as there is an issue with scenery textures when having too many add-on.xml entries in P3D v4.0 and v4.1.

When I finally update to P3D v4.2 I will go and reinstall everything using the fixed add-on.xml method.
