Or maybe I should ask, how was it determine they weren't being disposed? 2) Is it possible real aircraft are being picked up instead of the light weight AI models? Copied rather than generate GUID? 3) Have you tried using SimConnect_AIReleaseControlEx rather than SimConnect_AIReleaseControl ? Ex variant being that "Removing the AI will allow for complete manual control of a SimConnect SimObject." Hi Rob, @1) No memory build up noticed. It is only a suspicion that P3D internally is not getting rid of the objects. From the outside, according to the SimConnect protocols followed everything looks fine. @2) No that's not possible. AI aircraft are created via SimConnect based upon their title. These titles are unique, P3D would have complained about that at start up if it was not. @3) Yes I did, it makes no difference.... August 10, 20187 yr Author Quote from Ken from another thread about the same issue: “Hi Gerard I too have noticed this behaviour but only since upgrading to P3D V4.3 from V4.2. I still use the same UTL for AI. It has been driving me crazy. I´ve disabled each and every addon to do with scenery/texture and still the issue persists. Now that I have read all the previous replies I am going to disable UTL and see what happens. Maybe something in V4.3 changed how the sim looks at AI textures. So I disabled UTL and still the same issue. I did find out that if you use a drop down menu and then come back out then the frame rates increase again but only for about 30 seconds. Using a GTX760 with the latest drivers. August 10, 20187 yr Did a test last night: EDDF with UTL on 70%, Worldview via EzDok from the tower. Started with 28 fps, sometimes dropped to 19 fps but always came back to 26/27 fps. ADEX_FLYTAMPA_EHAM*.* files were not updated with v1.1, had to manually copy the more recent files I got some time ago 2. The *PAPI.BGL files were not removed (had to manually delete them) 3. I had two entries pointing to the library files (on from Add-On process and one native in Scenery.cfg), so removed one Tested and I have NOT noticed any reduction in FPS overtime, with some very high graphics settings TFR=30 and FFTF=0.33 I was around 27 FPS, watched AI traffic come and go (UTLive). I was in AS A318. Can you provide any more details, like specific location at EHAM? Cheers, Rob.

August 12, 20187 yr Author Nico was so kind to let me test a new beta which keeps the amount of parked aircraft about the same. Because there are arriving aircraft which also park at a gate the amount of parked aircraft was going up over time. Tests done with a triple view setup : PSXseeconTraffic beta test : Start 12.23 : 33.2 - 34.8 12.45 : 27.6 - 29.7 13.07 : 29.4 - 30.1 13.22 : 27.2 - 30.0 13.51 : 26.9 - 29.8 14.18 : 26.6 - 29.1 I succeeded in getting Traffic Global Early Acces to run so I tested that one too : Start 08.38 : 35.8 - 38.2 ( high because of a longer startup ) 09.06 : 33.8 - 35.2 09.37 : 32.3 - 34.0 Very stable for just over 1 hour, then : 10.20 : 27.9 - 29.2 10.31 : 27.4 - 25.6 10.45 : 27.1 - 25.5 I have tried TG EA also with 1 monitor and then the framerate remained stable for almost 3h . Then it started to decline. Test without AI for 3h : start 38 - end 36 It is like AI Traffic is filling up V4.3 till a certain level after which the fps start to drop... 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

I don't know how you have you add-ons configured (especially Orbx Netherlands and FT EHAM) so I included setting in my video. After 2 hours there was no drop in FPS, remained very consistent (I even transition to dusk). Upper left is MSI Afterburner data covering FPS (I enlarged the data post production so it's easier to see): Here is the MSI Afterburner complete 2hr log of data if your interested: MSI AB - EHAM data log file Was also running HiFI AS4 weather. Are you absolutely sure you don't have duplicate references to the FlyTampa libraries (one in scenery.cfg and one defined via add-ons process)? Cheers, Rob.
August 12, 20187 yr Author Thanks for testing Rob. My settings for Orbx and FT EHAM are about the same as yours. Like me with 1 monitor you also have a consistent framerate. However , I normally use a triple view setup and Schiphol is much more zoomed in and also the aircraft fill up a lot of the screens. That is costing fps. No double entries for FT Schiphol. And without AI no drop , even after 3h. As I wrote in my former post , it is like the Sim is up to a certain max level and then drops the framerate. Steve explained that very well . As I did not experience that in former versions I find it a pity to bring settings down to compensate. And I always want to use the latest version. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

August 12, 20187 yr @Rob Ainscough lets say with one scenery line up all calls are good with no issues while another line up has continues errors, is it possible that "error reporting" is effecting some of the test results as data being collected? @GSalden hows your "error reporting" setting look?
