I personally think that 2D views other than the main panel are pointless because they take up useless space and are horrible view points from the right seat. I'd rather have 3D objects that give me true depth in the sim, not just some plastered image that looks like crap.
September 1, 200619 yr sounds like you are missing textures. I'd check and make sure you've got all the textures out of the FS9/textures directory. There may even be textures someplace else.
