They might as well just give me back my money and when the beta actually comes out they should give it to me for free for the huge delay. I just want to be updated on the situation, I think I'm owed an explanation.

I read Mikes blog last week and I am happy that he informed us of the situation but we haven't heard a word about it since. Oh well, that's how it goes and I'll be excited when it's finally ready. I have plenty of games to hold me off until it's released so I'm good for now.:)

It just felt like we were going back full circle to the part where people were claiming that they were owed the beta because they paid for a fileplanet account.Just seems like we are backtracking here.

Next week has gotta be it!! If not it would seem likely its not coming at all :-(

The lack of any information or update from Fileplanet (they seem to have left it all to tdragger) is very poor IMHO.

Not that they are, but "scheduled" is a very safe word to use by PR people :)

We are just a few weeks from the final product, so I doubt that an open beta will happen -or- would make sense, because at this time the product should be close to Gold/RTM, unless MS/ACES decides to push back the proposed release date of mid-October.

Must admit .... Even though I was on Longhauls case a little I would be more than a little miffed if the beta never happened. I could handle not getting picked but I did join FP just for the chance of getting on the beta rosta. If it never happened then I would at least expect FP to give me the option of my money back as a gesture of good faith.
