August 24, 200619 yr Author >I'm just pushing for it to come out this weekend.>>I'd love to be able to use my new yoke on some longer flights.> I think we'd all love for it to come out this weekend (or before!). ;-)

So I need distractions.
August 24, 200619 yr Author I was wondering if any of you Fileplanet veterans have seen them issue a beta over a weekend.
August 24, 200619 yr they just released the Battlefield 2142 beta. so I doubt that they will start a FSX beta distribution this week at all. 9GB download need a lot of bandwith if there is many betatesters, and I guess the Battlefield beta is also a very large download. My guess is: if the FSX beta isn't released already, it will be released next week, maybe even later.Jan Roar Roed

Well it's the day before I go on holiday for 5 days! :-lol

August 24, 200619 yr September 6th, well if that turns out to be the date i can only laugh. The game is supposed to be in stores October. What could possibly be fixed with a beta comming out in September :D, 9 GB we first have to download and then begin to find bugs, sounds weird to me. Also i find it strange that the Aces team begins to think about getting the beta from DVD to downloadable more than 2 weeks after it was supposed to be out on FP, i dont buy that.

August 24, 200619 yr Yeah, the warhammer: mark of chaos beta went up yesterday, both that and the battlefield 2142 installers are around the same size. Bernard
August 25, 200619 yr >Yeah, the warhammer: mark of chaos beta went up yesterday,>both that and the battlefield 2142 installers are around the>same size.See this is what I was saying, several of you already mentioned about the Battlefield Beta which means you must have gotten accepted. As for me, I'm not saying anything! ;) But the same thing will be true for people that get the Fileplanet email that they just mention that they know someone who got it so we'll all know.NOW, If it is expected to be on store shelves worldwide then I would think 2 weeks prior the final needs to be mastered, packaged & shipped as well to clear customs in places. This means there will be 2 weeks left to have any feedback to correct anything as far as calling it a "BETA". Might as well call it a fanatical pre-release at this point since all of us that can't wait and paid fileplanet are the ones that are waiting on bated breath.
