REALISTIC EFFECTS

Featured Replies

Hi

Am I correct  in thinking that there used to be an option with the B737NGX to remove the realistic fingerprint and dust markings  from the EFIS panel so that the panel would look brand new and not used? I have been looking in the FMS setup section but no success

P.S  has the option being removed with recent updates??

honestly not to my knowledge. I've had the 737NGX for years and have never seen something like that in any PMDG airplanes.

That  has me puzzled.......I was 99.9%  positive that I had removed the fingerprints   from this aircraft panel before  by using the setup options inside the FMC panel

Hmm I've never seen it either I'm afraid.  Best place to double-check for certain would be Intro Manual.

Cheers

Are you sure that was PMDG 737 ? 😄

Why would you want to do that? I love that "feature".

X-Plane 12 and MSFS2020  🙂

System specs: Windows 11  Pro 64-bit, Ubuntu Linux 20.04 i7-13700KF  Gigabyte Z790 RTX-4060-Ti , 32GB RAM  1X 2TB M2 for X-Plane 12,  1x256GB SSD for OS. 1TB drive MSFS2020

Probably a texture mod found on avsim. There are plenty of those online.

I personally think it is overdone by all developers who do it. In any case, if my screens were that dirty I'd clean them.
