July 24, 20196 yr Commercial Member There was a strange problem. Autogen roofs pressed down. Does anyone know why? In jurisprudence, there is a principle - you look for the person who benefits.

July 24, 20196 yr Commercial Member I have seen this at times whether it is default agn or 3rd party. It seems to be related to the size of the structure. Not really an answer but more of my observations. Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!) Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11), EVGA 1300W PSUNetgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displaysFull array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.
July 24, 20196 yr Author Commercial Member I guess this is the work of some additions. Only a lot of them. What is hard to say. In jurisprudence, there is a principle - you look for the person who benefits.
July 24, 20196 yr No, I think this is default behavior. The defualt autogen also has this. In real life, flat-roofed houses such as these tend to have the edges of the roof slightly raised, I guess to make sure rainwater doesn't poor down from the sides of the building and into the sidewalk or street. I always assumed the autogen is trying to mimick this. The issue is that bigger autogen buildings basically tend to take the original models and quite literally inflate them, so things like this become more obvious. Though, if this is OrbX's HD building,s it's possible that something they did might have made it even more pronounced. I think they did something to the more detailed autogen objects, but not the simple rectangular building models that you point out in your screenshot. July 25, 20196 yr A long shot, but is your mesh resolution set lower than 5m? I have seen weird scenery issues with ORBX when it is set lower than 5. Alan
