August 11, 20196 yr Very recently I have been having lots of game crashes and I have not had those before. I have no idea what is causing it and I don't want to reinstall everything that I have. I was wondering if there is a tool that lets me know what caused the crash. That way I could pinpoint the problems more accurately. When the game crashes it doesn't give any kind of message or code, It just says P3D has stopped working. Sometimes I can fly all day with no problem and sometimes I can fly for 20 minutes. Very annoying so I would appreciate any help, thanks.

August 11, 20196 yr Win 10 has a feature called Reliability monitor which is quite useful for isolating problems, I've been using it lately to track down screen monitor/driver/graphics issues. August 11, 20196 yr Dust = Death , GPU's & CPU's are susceptible to overheating and will shut down your rig once their max rating is hit ,using a small compressor I blow out my machines when I start hear the fans run under load , when there is no dust they are almost silent as they are running at low speed . Power supplies can cause hard crashes when they start to fail , machine goes black with no warning ,without any great load but will restart , its a sign you need a bigger PSU . Best CJ
August 11, 20196 yr Please do not use a compressor...canned "air" is dry pumped to remove moisture, your compressor, unless you have the appropriate filters, is not. You are literally spraying the motherboard with water and lubricants that conduct electricity. Rank

August 12, 20196 yr You might try disabling any unused sound devices...one common troublemaker associated with sound.dll is the nVidia HD Sound driver that gets installed with most video cards (used to support HDMI audio piggybacked with video to a TV or similar device).
