September 21, 20196 yr https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_CST-100_Starliner " astronauts initially selected for the first two missions, from left to right: Sunita Williams, Josh Cassada, Eric Boe, Nicole Mann, and Christopher Ferguson. " I guess you have to be fit, but not necessarily lightweight (Eric Boe). "The CST-100 includes one space tourist seat, and the Boeing contract with NASA allows Boeing to price and sell passage to low Earth orbit on that seat." Almost anybody with enough cash can can but a ticket I guess... Oh, by the way did anyone let you know that you bought a one-way ticket?" Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
September 25, 20196 yr The Space Shuttle was supposed to make space travel cheaper compared to the Saturn V Capsule system being a mostly reusable vehicle, but that didn't turn out that way. Going back to Capsule Based launches is a far better system, too bad NASA wasted far too much time with that Space Shuttle because it took too much money away from other innovations. They just should have waited until the lightweight and immensely strong unobtanium and transparent aluminum had been invented and become widely available. Fr. October 1, 20196 yr Author "Well, what do you think of the flights so far?" Wonderful. "I am happy to hear that Mr. XXX. Oh, by the way did anyone let you know that you bought a one-way ticket?" -------------------------------------- So Flightsimulator is released 2020 which we buy. And we find that a relatively ordinary computer runs it very well. Then 3 months later we get an email from MS: "Well, what do you think of Flight Simulator so far"?
