Buy it man. At $30 price point its superb.

The autogen for non ortho area is fantastic. The new textures are great replacements (photo real) over the default.

No impact on frames.

still missing features promised....will wait for complete package

WOW, looks good, but I do not have the system to run it. nivida 1060 6gb vram is not enough.

Pisa does not show well the possibilities of SFDG.
SFDG in the Mediterranean changes the texture of only small and medium-sized buildings. The rest of the buildings remain the same as the default XP or X-Europe autogene (if you use). I hope this will change with future SFDG updates.
Therefore, in large cities with much larger buildings, the impact of SFDG is less visible than in other areas, which look very good.

Both vanilla and SFD look better than X-Europe though. Those crappy models ruin it.

In some places in Europe this is true.
But X-Europe adds a lot of facilities that SFDG doesn't have, or defaults XP- churches, stadiums, factories, monuments ... etc

Soon (I hope) X-Europe 3 will come, which will improve the situation of the appearance of "crappy models ". 😉

I just wished they offered a "Europe Landmarks" package that doesn't include any Autogen replacements - just the Landmarks.

That would be a good option...

Yeah, but these are just specific VFR objects (such as towers, wind turbines ect.) - no Landmarks as in "famous buildings" which are included in X-Europe. Unless there has been an update? Got rid of that scenery due to stutter issues (good luck rendering 2000 wind turbines in SoCal).

Colonel X is right. That's why I still use X-Europe, although the buildings are ugly.

Good luck with that. The number of custom models would be in the thousands.

X-EUROPE ver.3 has just appeared 🙂
I am very curious about the new version and how it will work with SFDG.
MisterX announced an update for the Mediterranean in about two weeks. Happens ... 😉

I’m running a 1060 6 GB and have no problems with it. I do have the texture slider at medium for my system but it looks great and runs great.
