October 16, 20196 yr When the ground crew speaks and also the ATC controllers online at Vatsim (new voice code) it seems Vpilot is taking priority and dimming down UGCX sound. Can someone test this please? Because all other software works fine with Vpilot Vernon Howells
October 16, 20196 yr This is a Windows setting. Right click the speaker icon in your taskbar, select Sounds, go to Communications and under "When Windows detects communications activity" select "Do Nothing". Simon Kelsey

October 17, 20196 yr Commercial Member I'm not sure what we can do about this one. It seems the vPilot client is taking control of your audio device's volume. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
October 21, 20196 yr I have done several flights on Vatsim since the new codec was released. In all cases I uses FS2Crew and UGCX and did not notice this issue. Yes the volume levels were slightly different and that is something that can be adjusted with VPilot settings but i did not notice the Vatsim voice channel drowning out or taking over the volume of UGCX or FS2Crew. October 21, 20196 yr If you right click on the windows volume icon and select mixer, you should be able to adjust the volume of each application. Does that help with setting the volume correctly? Jon Skiffington
