This tells me that the forum is fully accessible to the tech alpha participants and they are already quite busy in discussions over there. December 12, 20196 yr Another miss-information post, this probably isn't enough to warrant closing as I too got the forum account approval email but anybody can see the forums are not open, why cause us the pain?

If you click on the menu you can eg see all users names, also amount of badges given, and a dedicated „developers of content“ group you can apply access for... Click on any username and you can view their profile. You can clearly see their number of posts created and read in the last 2 days. There's definitely a lot of activity going on.
