December 17, 20196 yr This update certainly has a massive impact on the GPU usage and performance. I could run 4xSSAA at around 50-60 fps (i7 9700K with a GTX1080) without any problem. Now I am getting 25 fps with the GPU sitting at 100% load all the time from within the cockpit. Outside view I am still getting 80 fps which is not that bad. Very strange, this is even worse than the AS A330 on the same settings. Johan Pienaar
December 22, 20196 yr A new update has been posted that fixes the backlighting issue during the day (with the PBR model) and adds an optional performance-friendly glareshield lighting option (accessible through the Configurator). I've only been able to do a quick check, but it seems to reduce the performance drop by half on my 1070 Ti. Cheers, Tym

December 22, 20196 yr Commercial Member While I’m glad to have seen and downloaded this new update; I think I’ve reached the conclusion where part of me wishes there was a non-DL option still, a way of reverting to the old lighting (minus maybe the new chrono backlighting). December 22, 20196 yr One thing I noticed that VC rain effects start when rain starts but the VC rain effects remain enabled when it stops raining. Need to check in at the A2A forums. MSFS
