March 12, 200719 yr *bump*I just noticed this problem. Thought I had a corrupted installation and was just about to reinstall, but decided to search the forums first. It's not just that it's white. The big problem, as already mentioned, is that selecting it makes all other cessnas white until you restart the sim or select another model. For now, I replaced the scheme with another, downloaded from AVSim.I guess none of the beta testers bothered testing the Cessna... I hope the service pack fixes this. -
March 12, 200719 yr Just change the aircraft.cfg file and replace "texture="by texture=1 or 2 or 3 or 4...While you are at it, also change the reference to Red to whatever color you ended up picking as a substitute.Problem fixed (for now) :-) Bert

March 13, 200719 yr The problem appears to be more widespread, and appears to affect all the default aircraft. Any time you select the white variant, you can not select another variant for it's type without a restart. In all cases the white variant is in the "texture" folder for ot's type. I tried to duplicate this scenario with 3rd party aircraft and in all cases I was able to select the proper variant, so the problem appears to affect default AC only. I then tried to rename the cessna texture folder to texture.5, and made the adjustment to the aircraft.cfg file. This time I was able to change variants, but it resulted in a semi transparent model. Also there is no external view from the VC. Someone posted, they wished for an IFR trainer panel...Well this is as IFR as it gets!! :-lol http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/168348.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/168349.jpg Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
