Well PF seems to be sown again today.  Radar works but nothing else.  Completed a flight and can't log it.

It sure has become a meme of its own.

I have been a monthly subscriber since he launched it, because I do think PF adds value.  So he has received a fair penny from me and others over the past few years in addition to PTA which is now also seemingly grinding to a halt.  I don't mind supporting talent and passionate people in the community but ......

Yeah it's unfortunate as I really enjoy PF myself.

I dumped everything to do with that guy including PTA (Envshade is so much better) and will have nothing to do with that clown ever again.

Along the same lines, I've lost hope for PTA v3.

If you find Envshade so much better than that is really the best program for you as you seem not to understand what PTA is capable of ....

Choices and competition among products are great things for everyone’s individual tastes.

There is no competition between these two products. Envshade is a good and simple program while PTA is far more enhanced with lots of more features...

Like comparing a default FSX C 172 to a PMDG NGX. Yes, they can both fly .... 😑

I disagree! I think envshade is at par if not better than PTA as it has all the features  that are withIn like PTA.

but changes dynamically to suit conditoons.

whereby PTA you have to constantly go in and change settings to suit your liking.

Lots more features as you say does not necessarily equate to better. In fact Gerard, I have used your preset's in the past and while good, Envshade provides a more realistic look on my sim

You seem to have no idea of what PTA is and what it is capable of.

You can use expressions  = dynamically changes, depending on angle of light, time of day/night, altitude, weather conditions, angle on looking down, type of clouds, water refraction/reflection depending on view angle and many more. It contains features that Envshade simply does not have. You can also include separate custom tweaks and use multiple Post Processing shaders.

Envshade is a nice shader program and if you like it enjoy.

PTA is, like Tomato Shade far more enhanced. But as I am very sceptic about the way P3D changes its look over 12 months I made a PTA preset for each month of the year...

But everyone the way he/she likes it.

It also depends on what you would like your sim to look.

Most people like nice colors and indeed it looks good. I am not after that kind of look ; I want it to look like it looks outside my window. So now in winter it looks quiet dull but that’s the way it is.

No Polaroid look for me 😎
