Bought the Alabeo Mooney M20R Ovation.   Wow....what a great plane to fly. Excellent flight dynamics, beautiful exterior and interior details. Autopilot functions well and the VC is all I could ask for.  I spent quite a few hours with her yesterday and today (New Year's Day).  Great flights from KEWR and KPHL (my regions) to points west, KUNV (Penn State) and KLBE (Latrobe, Pa), Arnold Palmer airport.  She handled the weather well; we had some snow flurries and lots of wind.  

If you have this plane, I hope you agree.  If not, you might want to give this GA a try.

Does it have VC rain effects & realistic sounds?

Didn't notice rain effects, but I think the sounds are very realistic.

Have not flown mine for a while.  Dialing in my new Honeycomb Alpha yoke and setting up switches, so you spurred me to take the Alabeo Mooney up.

Not a bad airplane, I agree.. but Carenado/Alabeo has got the shape of the Bendix King HSI wrong (not the first time..) which wrecks the "being there" factor for me..

They started this in the B58 Baron and have managed to carry it through into the M20..

Picky maybe.. but why not do it correctly?

A good test is to see what happens when flaps are extended, particularly when going from approach to landing flaps.

I bought this plane recently too. It's all I have been flying...

For me, it's like driving a small race car...fast and responsive. I do really like it, especially after Bert's mods. My old boss, who taught me how to fly, flew several of these planes in real life. He always talked about them.

While I never had the chance to fly it in real life, I am enjoying it as well.
