>>anyone try this batch file with Windows Vista? I'm having>no>>luck...>>What happens? Do you at least get a DOS box that pops up and>starts running commands? Do DOS commands still work in>Vista?>>MattHi Matt:In the Start > Run > Open: text box, typing "CMD" and clicking OK takes one to the Windows XP text mode "Command" prompt. Many (but not all) DOS commands and associated command line switches work there as they did in DOS/Win9x OS versions with 32 bit long filename access from Normal Mode and Safe Mode Windows environments. In this "DOS" windowed command session typing a command followed by a space and "/?" (slash, question mark) yields a list of help info on the command along with its switch and parameter syntax requirements just like in "good old DOS".All commands or batch routines run from this window will write their results and/or any error or certain completion mesages to the screen just like one would see at an original DOS command prompt; this is convenient when developing/troubleshooting a batch routine as it allows one to see what happened unlike merely executing the batch filename at the Start > Run > Open: text box as it just quickly flashes across the screen before returning immediately to the Windows XP desktop. To exit back to Windows, just type "exit" and press enter (or click OK).Hope this helps!:-) GaryGB

Neither link works. Can somebody either post a working link or send me the files?
