January 20, 20206 yr HI all, Quick silly question about GPS and APR, with B60 duke, (but I guess its the same for all) If I do a flight from point A to B with the route injected in GPS, I put the switch in GPS mode to follow the track, I load my Approach in the gps, few miles from the destination I activate this approach, the question is, do I have to click the APR on Autopilot or is it only for NAV mode and the GPS will automatically follow the approach (altitude included) ? Thanks :D

January 21, 20206 yr NAV mode will only navigate horizontally, if you want it to follow the glideslope then you have to be in APPROACH mode .. .. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

January 23, 20206 yr As was said above... NAV mode to final. Verify that glideslope indicators are active and switch to APR mode. Bert
