Two of three signs so far for P3D near update or new V5

Recommended Posts

From my observation of past trend of things, these products usually get updated prior to a new P3D update or a new version is about to be released;

1- ASP3D V4 (new BETA B7361 released)

2- FSUIPC5 (new update 5.154 released)

3- still waiting for sign number 3 (the youtuber guy🤨).

I think we are almost there.

Doubt Prepar3D V5 is around the corner... more likely a incremental update...

I thought the traditional main sign that a major P3D update was imminent, was that Pete Dowson goes on holiday? 🤣

I also think that 4.6 is a lot more likely than V5 yet. My thinking is that if P3D v5 is in any way linked to being a professional variant of MSFS, this won't be released until either the same time as MSFS or slightly after, and LM did say that v4 still had plenty of life left in it, albeit they said it about a year ago.

Good find, but I'm not sure if it means anything is imminent, as we all know that P3D v5 is indeed in Beta, so this could just be for those people who have access to the Beta.

OP's point is a good one.  hope we have something good to look forward to.  All I want is a hot fix type update.  not looking to disrupt my in place sim, just to improve it.  Last thing I would be interested in is a delete and start over path.  One thing missing from the OP's list was the recent Skyforce update also.

I think there'll either be an incremental update or an announcement around the time of flightsimexpo in june.

Don't forget the 4th sign.  Pete Dowson usually goes on vacation right before a major release 😀

We've already seen V5 in the wild (Matt Davies' stream accidentally showed the folder on his PC) so it doesn't make much sense for them to be simultaneously working on an incremental update. All of the clues/hints we've seen so far point to V5.

A friend of mine has a sister who’s boyfriend has a dog that bit the cousin of a MS engineer who spied on a LM software developer and found out that LM decided to put V5 on hold and go back to v1 and start over from scratch as Asobo also started with FSX as the base for the new flightsim.... 🤔
