However, I don't fly into KEWR often at all because if I'm honest, this one is just mediocre at best, as Dan said. I can't comment on other DD airports, but KEWR's terminals to me almost look like default scenery level. Sitting at the gate, there is no detail whatsoever and it looks really lifeless and bland. The apron, taxiways and runways are better though. Overall, I'm disappointed with my purchase there if I'm honest. KEWR needs a FB quality rendition. Eric

May 5, 20206 yr With "KEWR" in my screen name, you could probably guess where I work. DD's KEWR, when it was new, was not that far off. Since then there is a major expansion of Terminal A underway, they sent UPS up to the north west side of the airport, eliminated some FedEx gates, looking to remove Chelsea catering (UAL catering) and added/changed taxiways. But again, not that far off from what was actually there. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

DD isn't that bad with updating their sceneries. Not all of them equally quickly but most of them got updates now and then, so there might be a chance they will provide a new version of the NY airports as well. May 6, 20206 yr Author Yeah, I'm 100% going with KSFO now, as Mir's work is brilliant. 11 hours ago, threegreen said: FWIW, I bought DD's NY airport package which includes KEWR because I really wanted KEWR. Thanks for this, the demo was tolerable, and I'm happy to use it if I get a brilliant KSFO. Hopefully Mir doesn't charge full price though, but either way he can have my wallet 😁

While other things are more detailed (apron clutter, etc.) the terminal area still looks dull. I think it's a bit strange because to me it looks like work stopped when the terminals were underway compared to other parts of the airport.
