Hardly when you can do exactly the same for the RXP version - credit there to F1 for having that system in place AND RXP for using it as well, wish more companies did that. Funny though how many comments you see where people state they had the F1 version and subsequently moved to RXP, yet have never even seen one the other way around. Strange that isn't it.. .. .. June 4, 20206 yr About 2 years ago I had problems with the F1 G500/600 and lack of support, so I returned the product. Never had a show stopper problem installing or using the F1 GTN750 or F1 GNS packages. At the moment, I'm quite happy with the F1 GTN750 and have no reason to switch to the RXP, after all both Brands do basically the same thing. Only reason for me to change to RXP would be if RXP implements CrossFill or supplied us with L: user variables for Vertical Navigation; then we could MOD our airplanes and implement it, specially the Carenado Jets. F1 developer support in their forums is close to NIL, but tickets work. Their forums are a user to user support. Current RXP support here on AVSIM is fine, but somehow I still remember the Old RXP times! Made my Carenado FA50 MOD more than a Year ago; still waiting for an answer on a PM I sent to RXP. 😞 Edited June 4, 20206 yr by RamonB Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
June 4, 20206 yr I purchased the Flt 1 GTN 750/650 when they were first released. Overall I was happy with them but there were always issue that were eventually resolved. I recently moved to the RXP 750/650. They are much more stable especially in Rotary wing applications. I recommend the RXP GTN 750/650. June 5, 20206 yr Author I wanted to take a moment to thank @Bert Pieke for his hand-holding as I took my first tentative steps with GA glass. I usually faff around with CDUs and MCDUs and always fly raw-data in GA. With a little extra time at hand, and with Bert's not-inconsiderable assistance, I am now flighting my RA and A2A aircraft with the GTN750. So far so good, I just flew my first coupled GPS approach with the 750 and I'm amazed at how much readily available information and guidance is present- both laterally and vertically. I'm very happy with the decision to go RealityXP, and remain obliged to Bert. C Edited June 5, 20206 yr by cavaricooper Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
