Hmm, no sytem specs posted, never heard this from you in our support forums, you never took advantage of our 30 day refund policy? Sounds fishy to us since there are thousands of perfectly satisfied Eaglesoft customers who would argue your point and document their satisfaction:-)Have you considered that your system or its setup may be the culprit for your poor performance.Email me and I'll be sure to get you a refund:-)

>Let me say this, "I would have to be nuts to buy a Cirrus for>FS9 and FSX". >>Having to re-purchase addons for FSX that don't do anything>more than add compatability will KILL THIS SIM. >>I wonder what developers will do this next year or two ?>Develope for xbox 360 ?First, you are under no obligation to purchase a thing:-)Second, you obviously know nothing of the months of hard work by a dedicated team recoding avionics, rebuilding and retexturing models, gleaning the most performance you can muster from two versions of flight simulator, etc.:-)Third, if you don't want it, don't purchase it. See how simple that is:-)

We both stated the obvious. Simple as that. :-)

>Ohh man! The eaglesoft planes will bring fsx to its knees. I>love the xlr2 and it is pretty much the only plane i fly in>fs9 any more but it runs like a dog in fs9 so i can only>imagine it in fsx. This plane takes 10fps from me in fs9 and>in fsx there is no margin for this type of frame loss. I was>thinking about this the other day wondering how eaglesoft was>going to be able to get their stable running on fsx with the>amount of overhead that their planes require. Id love to have>it in fsx but not at the sacrifice of already well documented>lackluster fps.i couldnt agree more with you...considering they bring fs9 to its very limits of acceptable performance, having to spend that money all over again to transfer it to fsx at even worse performance levels is pretty much a waste of money right now for the majority of us. Ive said it before here...but if devs think theyre gonna charge for fs9 transer conversions for fsx theyre going to suffer...to make money right now off of fsx theyre going to have to offer highly optimized fsx versions of their fs9 wares...or "lite", simplified versions. Rob from RealAir has shown himself to be in this for the love of it more than anything else and if anyone can bring us a solid GA experience in fsx i just bet itll be him...besides he deserves it, if not for the elite customer service alone, hehe. He'd never just slap something together for the sake of profit if it didnt truly improve our overall fsx experience....so lets have some faith ( i know, i know...its also gonna take some patience because nothing worthwhile comes so early on)Dave

Let me say this, "I would have to be nuts to buy a Cirrus for FS9 and FSX". Having to re-purchase addons for FSX that don't do anything more than add compatability will KILL THIS SIM. I wonder what developers will do this next year or two ? Develope for xbox 360 ?

I love that plane like i said and wouldnt consider returning it. It does run slow though and believe me my computer isnt the problem ;) I get 25fps solid with your plane in portland flightscenery addon at 3840x1024 with my triplehead setup compared to 34fps in the addon cessna and diamond katana. No need for me to contact support as i love the plane and 25fps is still enjoyable. My point is if this were fsx i would have had to contact you re: a refund as it would have taken fps over the edge. I was the guy that emailed you re: wanting to wait to purchase the planes for fsx to save money but ended up buying one for fs9 because i couldnt wait.I will still buy it in the near future to use my coupon (id be stupid not to) because i love the plane but i dont look forward to enjoying it until the fsx frame rate issues are dealt with. Ill just install it and keep it on standby for a year or so :)I would encourage you to read my initial post again where i say i love the plane and fly it almost exclusively. Im not a competitor i assure you. Good luck with getting fps in fsx :)Dave

I believe Rob programmed the flight model for the Liberty, as he has most of the Eaglesoft releases in the last few years. :)Tony

Your claim of low FPS in FSX with our Liberty is unfounded. We develop and test on middle of the road systems for a reason. The Liberty XL2 presents the same load to FSX as it does to FS9.:-)

>Your claim of low FPS in FSX with our Liberty is unfounded.>We develop and test on middle of the road systems for a>reason.>>The Liberty XL2 presents the same load to FSX as it does to>FS9.:-)>>exactly...youre saying it yourself here (being contradictive)...its obvious at this point in time that any aircraft that carries the same "load" in fsx as it did in fs9 WILL also carry with it a lower fps performance as compared to fs9...and as we all know fsx doesnt have any overhead for that yet. Therefore his results arent necessarily unfounded. Any successful selling fsx aircraft in this early stage is going to have to offer LESS load than its fs9 counterpart...i would think many of the beta testers would have seen this comming months ago...polygons and panels (gauges) alike will have to be rethought for right now so the overhead will be less. Unitl the hardware catches up i think that fsx is going to require a slightly different thought process from the devs for the short-medium term. Dave

You are the exception...the majority of our users enjoy the aircraft and have no such negative feedback regarding sim performance in EITHER sim version!:-)

The plane looks interesting. Is the FSX version a FS9 compatible or does it support FSX inovations like bump mapping, self shadows etc?ThanksJos

Jose, as you may know, 3D Studio Max tools for providing advanced features are not available at this time:-)
