Let's be realistic here, I haven't seen SO MANY ###### customers after the FS9 release as I'm seeing today, simply there were not as many people complaining about the product as there are right now. I expected this, downloaded the demo, it ran like crap so I said nah ah, I'm going to wait this one out and upgrade after Vista and DX10 is out, just to make sure everything runs fine together.On the other hand in regards to all the tweaking and all the bs that people have to go thru (even on their high end machines), countless hours of browsing these forums to make this thing run like it should is PATHETIC and SCANDALOUS for the ordinary customer.

I use Active Sky 6.5 with FSX and guess what///its even better than with FS9 . There are issues that need to be addressed in an upgrade as the internal weather handling is different, otherwise it works just fine> and just to add.. I don't want limits in fsx for the only purpose to run it fluid on someones Pentium 3.0 Ghz with 1 GB of ram. With only one GB I even had texture realoads in FS9... FSX just needs loads of ram and video memory. Otherwise just stay away from it.

My email is to the so called "Aces Team", and I will use the term loosley. I have been into FS since 2000 edition. I dont post on forums. But I cant resist this one time. I dont care who buys FSX and who doesnt. I love FS9 myself. I think FS8 is better than FSX, but that is a personal opinion. The commercial for FSX. To the "ACES TEAM". Are you guys retards.? That commercial looked geared towards playskool and Tonka toys kids. It looked ridiculous.It turned me off, and I know people that took that FSX back and got refunds. It is an XBOX game, I know you are coming out with an XBOX game version, I have a relative that works in the business. Everytime I am watching T.V. and I see that commercial, I hope my relatives are not watching because they know how I love flight simulation and MS Flight Simulator.Thank you to AVSIM, I donate when I can, and I will keep donating. I've had a friend of mine send me an e-mail this morning, a guy that has no clue about simulation, asking me if MS were for real with this commercial? I have yet to see it but apparently it's choppy as fcuk. :D

Thanks for link to the commercial. I was laughing so hard I had tears coming from my eyes. There are different ones, there is another one that is absolutley retarded on National Geographic. It shows this Beechcraft 58 going up and down like it is being "Hammered" to quote an earlier post. Its embarrasing for guys that take simulation to heart, like me. I love Flight Simulator. I make no bones about it. I dont care who uses what version, I just hope that FS9 still has flight plans written for it. I am not good at writing flight plans. The "Aces Team" may not have been involved in the commercial. So, sorry Aces if I spoke rudley of you. The commercials make my favorite sport look childish and it hurt. I spend almost all of my spare time with my beloved MS Flight Simulator. Mostly watching AI traffic that is so cool. I think FSX went away from the concept of what everyone of us were doing, AI traffic and better ATC. This is what most of us are all about, getting real AI traffic with good ATC and correct runway placement.Something got lost. I dont regret one dime I spent on MS FS, any version.!!Isnt AVSIM cool. They are so nice to just let you on to download anytime day or night. And all the great people doing the repaints, and scenery guys. I probably know far more about aerodynamics and aviation than you do, for all you know.What I can say for sure is that I know A LOT. I've studied aviation from a young age and have flown various aircraft. I've studied aerodynamics extensively as well.And FSX in my opinion offers a much better training tool than FS9, purely due to the improvement in the feel of flight as well as having much more VFR-friendly scenery than stock FS9.Your opinion is based on a TV commercial? So you don't actually have any experience flying in FSX? If that's the case your opinion doesn't hold any water.Have a nice day.James
