Should I Have Gotten Something?

Featured Replies

I pre-ordered the Premium deluxe version.  I got a receipt, but not a download or anything. Should i have gotten a downloader?

I signed up at the forums, and they said I would get an e-mail to activate my account, but I haven't gotten anything.  Are the forums maybe not open until release date?

I got an email when I bought it which said this (below) and it had a clickable link on the email.

I have that, but I can't do anything.  There is even an image that when I click it says an exe, but it won't let me save it anywhere.

Try this:

First up, try using the Microsoft Edge Browser (if you have Windows 10, it'll be on your start menu), some other browsers don't like the coding on the MS store website. Go to the MS web store and make sure you are signed in (top right). Go to payment and billing up at the top, and on the drop down from there, choose order history. When you see your MS order, click on it and that should take you to a page with an install button. Click that and away you go. Note that your device (PC) has to be registered with your MS account to install Flight Sim, you can do that on the same site.

No, nothing I do works.  It won't let me sign in, won't let me add a device.  I just keep going in circles.

What happens if you open your Microsoft Store?  Can you sign in with the same login you used to buy?

Yes, i can see that it's there.  But I can't add my pc to the ms account.   And now when I click order history it gives an error. 🙄

It says follow the setup instructions on the pc, then sing in after setup.  I don't have those instructions.  I have tried going to settings and choosing to use an ms account, that does nothing.

That's positively minimalist compared to mine. 🤣
