August 17, 20205 yr Just curious how much of an area can you store? Is it scalable for size? Say I wanted to store LOWI and 150km in every direction....or is it smaller? Those who have the game, please report back! Just trying to figure out which area I want to store and how big it will be. i9 11900K @ 5.3 RTX 3070TI 8GB 32 GB RAM @ 4200 GHZ 1 TB SSD 1080p G-Sync 27" Monitor
August 17, 20205 yr Default was 8GB. I changed it to 100GB. Just out of interest to see how quickly that will fill up. // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

I have quite a bit of storage space available so I should be able to hit a vast area. i9 11900K @ 5.3 RTX 3070TI 8GB 32 GB RAM @ 4200 GHZ 1 TB SSD 1080p G-Sync 27" Monitor

Is there an option to check to store it? or is it automatically stored? i9 11900K @ 5.3 RTX 3070TI 8GB 32 GB RAM @ 4200 GHZ 1 TB SSD 1080p G-Sync 27" Monitor
August 17, 20205 yr Looks like it automatically stores areas you are flying over. I guess it is a rolling buffer. First Inn - First Out // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

First Inn - First Out so if I close the game down and open it back up, the same area is stored from previous cache? Just curious on how it stores areas for offline play if my connection goes out. Still want the photoscenery area cached. i9 11900K @ 5.3 RTX 3070TI 8GB 32 GB RAM @ 4200 GHZ 1 TB SSD 1080p G-Sync 27" Monitor

August 17, 20205 yr You can manually save areas of your choice in the settings, mania cache area. Shows you a pic of the world and you can select what area etc.... I bet that comes in handy for some people. You can pre download them too. Edited August 17, 20205 yr by Ianrivaldosmith
