for the FREE upgrade of their fine Cessna 172 to FSX. Download and install was a snap. It's one of my most used planes in FS9 and I'm happy to have it in FSX now.Jim

Hey Jim, just curious what this version will give me over the default 172 in FSX? I know the 172 in FS04 was lacking but the one in FSX is actually very good. Would there be a substantial flight model difference between the default and the flight one version? Thanks for your input!Dave

Good question. I only installed FSX last night so I haven't really flown the default 172 at all, so I can't really comment on it. The Flight 1 172 is spinnable. The v/c is a LOT crisper and I think the whole model looks better overall.Jim

That was nice of them to do that and it's good business. I think you can count on the next ones not being a giveaway.Bob

I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

I believe I read somewhere that the ATR-42 was going to be a free upgrade also.I'm got my fingers crossed for the Dreamfleet Bonanza and Baron. Their older models that I have like the Archer and Cardinal I would not expect to be upgraded for free since they were upgrades from FS2002 originally. The Aeroworx King Air will not be a free upgrade, they are working on Version 3.Jim

>The Aeroworx King Air will not be a free upgrade, they are>working on Version 3.>>Jim>>>You can copy the Aeroworx King aircraft from your FS9 into your FSX and run it nicely. (do a search here...you'll find a "how to") I didn't test it that thoroughly..but It looked like everything was moved over and flies like it did in FS9. Including the AP.I am glad that they are working a Version 3. Until that time.. I'll simply copy it over. Aeroworx King air is an awesome aircraft... and what a flight model. Amazing stuff.Manny
