But this appears to be a bug with the sim losing the data in certain situations (alt-tab).

Talking about weather, have you noticed that the winsocks display the wrong speed/direction from certain distance, until you get close to them and then it corrects to showing the real winds? I can't go into the official forums to report this bug because their down.

I've noticed that European weather seems to be more accurate than North American.
