September 7, 20205 yr Since MSFS 2020 was released, I have been using my old PC (i7 2600, gtx 980ti). However, I just finished building a new computer with all the latest trimmings. I mirrored my old ssd to a new ssd m.2. Everything loads up perfectly. But, whenever I try to load msfs2020, I get this message:"Microsoft Flight Sim is not available in your account, error code Ox3f8001? I can not find a customer service phone or email to ask for help. Any suggestions will do--Help help. Edited September 7, 20205 yr by williehayes52 misspelled word

Whoa, you have something weird going on with your browser or computer then. That should be the official MSFS forums. Make sure you are logged into you Microsoft account. It's necessary to be logged into your Microsoft account in Windows to install the game too. Edited September 7, 20205 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

September 7, 20205 yr Microsoft will 'activate' your new PC running Windows 10. I assume you have already been logged in to your Microsoft account? Maybe as long as it's not activated MFS does not want to start ... I don't know, just trying to think of some possible cause. The forum requires a separate login, which is somehow coupled to your Microsoft / Xbox account, but this can sometimes go wrong. I've had that 'Oops ...' message too, submitted a zendesk ticket and after two weeks I had a response that there is a bug and they are working on it. We have re-qualified this ticket into a bug report. Our team of experts will review the information you provided to categorize and prioritize the issue. Please be aware that, while we review each report manually, we are unable to provide an individual update, unless our experts require more information. September 8, 20205 yr Author abrams_tank thanks so much. But could you please give me the specific site address for logging in; I have tried settings/useraccount and I get many different websites. Forgive me for not being too computer literate, but any help you can give me would be great. By the way, for a couple of weeks I have enjoyed msfs 2020 on my older machine, and it worked great 40 fps as long as I keep it at a low setting--and the graphics were still outstanding..

It does not sound like you are properly logged into your MS account on your PC. Make sure if you go to Settings and Accounts you are properly logged into your Microsoft account. Same for the Xbox account. Usually I found when moving to a new PC build most services I need to re-login. But then I generally almost always do a clean install of the system on the new machine just to avoid any issues.
September 8, 20205 yr Can I ask what the specs of your new PC are? Im on a 12yr old system and starting to think about a new PC as well. Im waiting for the Ryzen 4K series due in the winter to make a decision.
September 8, 20205 yr When you installed your new pc you should have done a clean install of windows first before trying to intall apps. Mirroring over the previous disc is going to give you never ending hassle. As part of that clean install windows would have asked you to login to your Microsoft account.

Otherwise you usually get a many unspecified problems with programs functionalities. For new hardware allways is the best way a new clean instalation of Windows.

Windows 2000 does permit this and seamlessly installs You may get asked later that thie software is not activated and giving you options to activate. If your software is, asw it should be activated in your live account it will reactivate it for you. Harry Woodrow
