September 8, 20205 yr No trolling or anything. Just wanted to know if i am doing something wrong or it was last minute change in this effect. Going to minute 0:57 in the intro video we see each time we run the sim, we can see a very nice starching rain on the windshield. No matter what settings of windshield effects i use i simply cant get anything like it. All i get is some drops the disappear after a second. Anyone seeing something similar to the video ? September 8, 20205 yr Tbh I’ve not tested it myself and my hardware is midrange so it’s probably not a fair test on what is possible GTX1070 4790k 32gb. I have seen some videos by a few youtubers with much better systems than me that have replicated those rain effects. what hardware you on?

September 8, 20205 yr I've been very disappointed with rain effects as well. Perhaps one needs to fly through a downpour to trigger the streaming water effects, but this isn't realistic IMO. Even flying through heavy clouds should result in water streaming effects. I do see the effects, barely, but it's nothing like the promo videos. My settings for this feature are also turned to ultra, but it's still disappointingly very nuanced.

September 8, 20205 yr It was in the DA40 TDI I think, I have lots of streaming it was very pleasing, I used the default rain weather profile. September 8, 20205 yr I use live weather exclusively, and even when I’m supposed to be in heavy rain, I barely have any raindrops on the windshield or outside for that matter.
