Traffic liveries

Featured Replies

Flight 1 needs to make Ultimate Traffic for FS2020.  They had decent quality liveries that were easy on frames.  They even had AI traffic run on an actual airline schedule that you could download periodically.  With Live Traffic now, that doesn't appear to be needed anymore, but I would buy that addon in a heartbeat.  Really transformed FS2002 and FS9 for me.

This is definitely on top of my "wish list" for updates or 3rd party implementations.  It transforms the flight sim for me.

Only a matter of time. Weeks, I think.

Unless AIG can figure out how to do it, we will probably be stuck with a bunch of poorly done, poorly maintained payware MSFS AI Traffic packages. The real problem is that the bulk of the quality AI aircraft models are designed for FSX and P3d5 and to convert them all to glTF format requires permission from the original developers. I did note that the excellent payware AI aircraft developer FSPXAI is working on converting its fleet for MSFS. That will help immensely. If the freeware developers FAIB and Raven AI follow suit, then it's just a matter of time before there will be better AI traffic in MSFS. Else, the airports will continue to look unrealistic. I also want to add that some of the freeware liveries that I have downloaded are really weak copies of the RL versions.

With the amount of livery related freeware popping up, I am really puzzled nobody followed up on this...

I actually sent a note to NexusMods...haven't heard back yet.

Flight One needs the SDK before developing AI traffic.
