September 17, 20205 yr I'm flying a quick flight to check out the hills about 100 miles west of Washington DC. W99- 2G4. I realize the shots are somewhat lackluster but I wanted to show off another area where you might enjoy flying. There are some weird terrain spikes and water elevation issues however. I also got a slick paint job for the VL3 - and someone ran with my 914 mod and made a 915 (though it's got some issues haha). You can read about the mod and paint here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/vl3-which-engine-is-modeled-making-a-mod/239670/28 Untitled by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled5 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled6 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled7 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled8 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled9 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled10 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled11 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

September 18, 20205 yr Ryan: Liked your choice of flight, here, between these tiny airports..(tucked away somewhere).... Decades ago, I used to make 2 trips a year, by road, from Columbus (OH) to Washington DC,...it must have been 70 East, past Pittsburgh etc....clearly recall almost always running into rain and clouds when passing by those PA mountains...very scenic highway, with lots of rolling hills...as I recall.. Anyway, checked the MAP a bit, it looks like, I was not too far from your airports, here, and I'm (somewhat) familiar with the Appalachian range...(more so to the south towards Tennessee, though)... Yes, agree, this should be beautiful area to explore in the MSFS, nice series of pictures, btw,...!! And, this VL-3 Racing Orange, really, looks "bold" and "beautiful"...!!
