Calm down, we don't all live and breathe computers. That's why we come to forums like this to learn things.

I will wait until all options are up on the table before i decide to upgrade, i really not need any faster card than my current 2080TI for the moment, i play at 3440x1440 resolution with almost all setting at ultra, and msfs runs very smooth at 60 fps for me, so i will wait until i need something better, that may not be a gpu, a much stronger cpu will probably make a huge differens with the coming high end aircraft also.

System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I

My current Titan XP can only do 4K @30fps at 80% rendering scale under ultra settings. So a 3090 would be the perfect solution. For anything below 4K I guess that 3090 is not really necessary.

9950X3D / 64GB / RTX5090 / Pimax Crystal Light / Win11

The CPU being the bottleneck will not give the 3090 enough to work with.

FSX | DCS | X-Plane 11 | MSFS 2020 | IL2:BoX

Favorite aircraft currently: MSFS Savage Cub

I just looked at Amazon Australia and, joyfully, I can buy a 2080ti for the mere pittance of AUD4413.00 whereas the unfortunate people in America have to pay the huge price of USD2417.98 for the Titan Pascal in Amazon USA.

Lucky us in OZ

I am in the process of assessing which bank I rob to even contemplate buying a 3080 or 3090. I would imagine it may well be cheaper to buy a used Rolls Royce.

OS Win 10 Pro 64bit. Simulators ... FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.

This is a usefull crowd to keep an eye on - https://www.umart.com.au/Graphics-Cards---GPU_C.html?id=610&price_min=1000&price_max=0&filter=0&mystock=1-2-7-6

I see a pre-order 3080 10Gb is $AUD100 cheaper than a 2080Ti 11Gb - decisions, decisions.
