Have you updated your NVIDIA driver recently? Try rolling it back to a previous version. NVIDIA's latest driver is bugged and caused this issue for people, not Asobo's patch. Whether it's the same cause in your case, I can't say, but it's worth trying. Since reinstalling an older NVIDIA driver, the stuttering has gone again for me and others.

Anyone noticed any stuttering or a few more frame drops after this latest patch?  Prior to this patch, I didn't have any issues.  Now I get these slight pauses or microstuttering here and there.  I haven't changed anything.

Im kinda seeing that too, im not too sure tho, but it does feel like a few more stutters are present

I actually updated to the latest driver in hopes it would cure the issue.  Do you recommend a good prior driver to roll back to?

It’s a BUG. Exact same issue on C172 with G1000. Been reported to Asobo. ;-/ Fly long enough on AP and it will strike.

At first I thought the TBM had no issues on my system. I have not, for instance, seen any problem with “dolphining”. However, the freezing PFD airspeed and altitude has happened twice on different flights, both times during descent in V/S mode. On both occasions, the altitude and airspeed on the standby instrument continued working.

I don’t know what the trigger is for this but I have seen it in straight and level flight. As you say though, everything else seems to work ok, even other parts of the Garmin. So it is not like the whole Garmin us it is freezing up, only speed and altitude tapes, plus the nav and comm frequencies.

Well, I'm not alone in discovering that the latest one causes stuttering (if you didn't have stuttering at all), so if you already had some it could have made it worse. I rolled back to version 452.06, August edition.

Before all this, I had bad stuttering in certain flight situations that I cured by (reluctantly) upgrading my RAM to 32GB. Again, hardware configurations are so varied, so I wouldn't like to say this is a fix for everyone.
