TBM930 wobbling after the latest patch

Featured Replies

So I am flying today with the TBM930 and at climb she starts to wobble like crazy. Didn\t do this before the patch...

It stabilizes after I disconnect the autopilot.

Very annoying because it was flying perfecty before this patch !!!

I'm really peewed they "fixed" a perfectly working TBM930 and got her worse than before the patch... Didn't they test the patch before rolling it out ???

I do 99% of my flying in the TBM930 and now I will have to wait for a nother patch because of their incompetence.

The patch before was working really well for me but now even the fps seems to stutter more occasionally than before the patch...

Seems to do this when climbing in FLC mode. Any change of attitude that the AP tries to make, causes an increasing pitch oscillation.  VS mode seems stable, at least in the last flight I made.

I flew the tbm last night and didn't experience any wobbling

How is that possible? I just used the default autopilot on the menu above when flying. This was the white arrow that appears on screen. I let the AI control the airplane then took off. Up and down trying to take off but in air it seemed ok.

Maybe it’s an AI issue then. I don’t know... just speculating. I’ve been working the last two days and won’t get w chance to instal the pitch until later tonight.

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

Yeah I flew the TBM last night and climbed to FL310 with AP as normal.  I did notice a couple oscillations that weren't normal maybe, but I was also flying through a thunderstorm and in 70kts winds lol so hard to tell. Overall was smooth with AP

I just did a short flight with the TBM. No wobbles when on autopilot and vs.

How are you initiating the AP?

Before take off I

Before take off I dial in vs, nav, fd, and altitude. After take off I establish myself on the route, retract flaps, trim the plane to about 2000 feet climb per minute, then hit the ap button.

The AI has major issues in general. Don't use it to test flight models. The A/P also has issues like random steep turns and failing to sequence properly.

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

I am also having these issues - I noticed that it was mostly prevalent using live weather vs 'clear skies' in my one test flight. So annoying that the patch seems to just create more issues/make the sim worse than before??

I don’t suppose there are any fixes for this? Avoiding FLC helps a little bit even VS mode sometimes doesn’t work!!

I've use flc with no wobbling except one time when I was climbing at 120 which was kinda low. As soon as I increased speed to 175 it smoothed out, but I've always used flc to climb
