USing RTSS and Scanline sync x/2 at 75hz. 75/2 = 37,5fps, smooth as butter.
The only issue with RTSS - you must run it before P3D, or it won't work, at least on my system.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

On my system it works either way.. but starting it first makes sense..

Here is a sample bat file that does just that:

REM Start MSFS.bat, 1 September 2020

REM Start RTSS

@echo off

cd /D "C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server"
start "" /AFFINITY FC "RTSS.exe"
REM Insert 2 sec pause
TIMEOUT /T 2

cd \

@echo on

REM  Start MSFS

@echo off

start "" shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App "-FastLaunch"
REM Insert 2 sec pause
TIMEOUT /T 2

exit

Great, thanks!
By the way, what  "/AFFINITY FC" means? Is it something connected to process priority?

It means Cores or LPs (depending on CPU and HT status) 1111 1100 only are available for RTSS.exe

Ah yes, I mixed it with process priority by mistake.

I created bat file, it ran RTSS and P3D, but RTSS is still using all cores with "/AFFINITY FC" added, just checked via task manager. This is how my bat file looks like:

REM Start P3D

REM Start RTSS

@echo off

cd /D "C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server"
start "" /AFFINITY FC "RTSS.exe"
REM Insert 2 sec pause
TIMEOUT /T 2

cd \

@echo on

REM  Start P3D

@echo off

cd /D "d:\Prepar3D v4\"
start "" "Prepar3d.exe"
REM Insert 2 sec pause
TIMEOUT /T 2

exit

This can also be done with SimStarter with a few mouse clicks...

Hi,

we had a topic on this some time ago and I did a comparison, maybe worth a look 😉

How are you limiting you frame rate

I would definitely recommend RTSS, but in the meantime I bought a new monitor capable of 30 Hz and this is the best option IMO.
