Something this light weight (6 lbs) could likely be easily carried. After all, they would require some sort of emergency aid supplies to stabilize the patient. There are even small and lighter weight Oxy kits too. https://www.rehabmart.com/product/mada-oxyunipak-in-shoulder-bag-with-m7-mada-cylinder-iii-28713.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwzvX7BRAeEiwAsXExo59s5wdUT4RCOqu6rBH42FMPtyQX4m1kt2qG3vHMg9wws_tZMrnX7RoCfNsQAvD_BwE Fr. I think it's more to do with carrying 100% oxygen near an open fire....!!!

Don't think those mini jets are much of an ignition risk though. Otherwise the pilots legs would be rather toasty.

Oxy in a sealed bottle with the valve closed should present no danger. Moreover, it would have to be carried in a canvas bag well above the four jets controlled by the hands. Fr. October 9, 20205 yr This is the result of 100 years of development. Yes, the very first jetpack was designed in 1919. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Correct, the first conceptual drawings were made in 1919. That design was not built, but that is considered to be the start of the jet pack.
