October 21, 20205 yr Commercial Member Hello. Since we now have a good native casual multiplayer in the sim (without having to go to IVAO or VATSIM). Do you guys use it to fly together? How do you go about it? How do you communicate? Im always online, but never really see anyone (due to my routes and the time i fly, mostly late evening and early morning, french time). Only yesterday i bumped into a random guy in the grand canyon and went for a crazy ride insinde the cznyin. It was amazing. But no way to communicate, no way to find out who he is (cant remember is user ID). But i have to say it was amazing fun. Is there somewhere a website or something where people post their intentions and are willing to accept people tagging along? Thanks a lot!
October 21, 20205 yr Yep, I wonder the same thing. Not too helpful I'm sure, but I have a flying buddy and we use our phones to communicate. Like so many other areas, multi-player is quite imperfect and frustrating at times. At others it's easy and works wonderfully. I imagine someone will chime in and provide info on better ways to communicate that don't require giving out personal phone numbers. i7-9700K, MSI Z370, PNY 4070 Super, GTX 750Ti, 32GB GSkill, 43" curved Samsung, 32" BenQ, 11" LED, RealSImGear GTN750, Win10, P3DV5.4/P3DV6 and MSFS, several GoFlight modules, Saitek radio, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Virtual Fly TQ6.
October 21, 20205 yr I believe Discord is used by people to arrange meet-up flights. Presumably they use its VOIP service to communicate during flights, but I've zero experience with Discord. October 21, 20205 yr There are a number of sites announcing group flights. They usually include flight plans you can download ahead of time to load into FS 2020. They also point to their discord sites so you can join in and talk with trip creators and participating pilots. Very open and welcoming. Jump in and give it a try!

October 21, 20205 yr This is the link to MSFS Bushpilot discord. We do regular flight events every saturday at 06.00 GMT and 18.00 GMT. Me and a friend are also hosting a South American bushtrip there that happens every tuesday at 1830 GMT that will continue until we reach Cape Horn probably in March or April next year. Usually a good turn out on these (anywhere from 7-20). https://discord.gg/MYvtyNR Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
