October 25, 20205 yr Miss Pick Up, a PBY Catalina based in Duxford, had an engine failure over Scotland and had to land on the Loch Ness and be picked up ashore with a crane. One of her pilots is Matt Dearden who has been for quite some time a pilot in Papua on a Pilatus Porter and now flies out of Great Britain a PC 12. Some pictures of the rescue here.
