October 26, 20205 yr Hi, very interested in this yoke, if I were to pre order, what sort of lead time are we talking for delivery (I’m in the UK if that makes a difference) and what payment options are available, could I pay by PayPal or just credit/debit cards? thanks in advance Steve
October 26, 20205 yr Commercial Member Hi there Payment can be by paypal or credit/debit card. Lead time is the same all over the world, we are fulfilling the pre order list as fast as possible. I'd expect orders that are placed now to be shipping in about 5-6 weeks. October 26, 20205 yr Author Thanks for the quick reply,I appreciate it, you probably have another sale, cheers Steve
November 3, 20205 yr Does that mean that existing pre-orders will be fulfilled soon? I guess you have not reached end of august yet? Thanks, Jurgen
November 3, 20205 yr There must have been a deluge of orders in the first 2 days, because i’m still waiting and i had my order confirmed on the 20th August (3 days after preorders opened).

I pre-ordered within a few hours after pre-orders were available on the 17th august and sofar haven't received an invite yet, so I assume you're right, there must have been a deluge as you say. Not complaining. I think it's great that there's a good demand for the yoke. After all, Chris probably invested a lot of time and perhaps money into this project and it's nice to see that it works out. November 12, 20205 yr @tutmeister Could you kindly give us a general weekly update as to where you are with fulfilling pre-orders, please? Specifically, which pre-order dates are being shipped. I placed a pre-order mid-September and two months on I'm still eagerly waiting for the payment invite. Others in this thread ordered a month earlier than I, yet as of last week still appear to be waiting for theirs too. My mood isn't helped by the fact that my separate Thrustmaster pre-order is also delayed without a known delivery date. I understand that supply chains are disrupted and not everything is in your control, but the wait is quite a bit longer than the "shipping in about 5-6 weeks" that you mentioned above. Some detail about where we are in the waiting list (even if there's slippage) would be greatly appreciated.Edit: (Just seen @Ron Attwood's suggestion here. That would be even better). Thanks. November 12, 20205 yr Can i reiterate my suggestion of at least a ‘processing orders made on x date’, as Ron’s suggestion would leak sensitive sales figures / manufacturing rates etc. Or just a percentage - thats safer still. Post something each week, maybe a percentage of orders fulfilled vs pending. Theres must be a whole load of people to whom the silence is deafening.

Some detail about where we are in the waiting list (even if there's slippage) would be greatly appreciated. Hi there To everyone waiting, I think my comment was misunderstood. The projected delivery for new orders was 5-6 weeks from 26th October, not 5-6 weeks for any order placed as a pre-order. This means that we were planning on having all pre orders shipped within 5-6 weeks of the 26th October. This is because production is a curve that started slowly and ramps up to much larger quantities shipping near the end of that period. 6 weeks from the 26th would put us at 9th December. However since then we have had a new lockdown in the UK imposed with all its knock on delays to business. We are also seeing world-wide shortages of components like switches. At the moment we have secured enough to continue production and are still ramping up numbers but these are trying times and even straight forward tasks and orders are taking longer than they normally would so I do see some slippage against that date by maybe a week or two but hopefully not too much. I really appreciate how frustrating it is waiting. The same goes for me! I'd love nothing more to be able to give everyone a date and have everything shipped by then. It is one of the reasons I avoided pre-orders for so long. I can only thank you all for your patience and support and tell you that we are trying to get them out as fast as possible. If anyone changes their mind and does not want to complete their order at time of shipping then they are free to cancel. Regarding updates on the website, I do not foresee this as a long term position and website changes with counters etc require time and effort which all cost money. Arguably they are nice things to have and will help with knowing where you are in the queue but on the other hand, if all orders are caught up and we are at the normal position of carrying stock then it is an unnecessary cost for a short term position. If we end up it a situation where there is a permanent long term waiting list then absolutely it is something I will look at implementing. I will try and be more engaging on the website with information in future. November 12, 20205 yr Hi Chris, I appreciate your reaction. For a starting business these days must be like a rolling coaster ride, never knowing what the next anti-Covid measures will mean for your business. It's just that in these dark times, there are some happy thoughts that help us guide us through it. One of these thoughts is having our hands on the perfect yoke. Impatienly as we are, we will of course just have to wait for that happy moment but it helps a bit if you can give an update once in a while how things are going. Chris I would not worry about wasting time on the website there are more important thngs. Potentially a weekly post in here on this forum saying something like "yokes currently shipped were pre-ordered on xx/xx or earlier " might keep the impatient ones happy ? Though I can see even that limited info creating disappointment if production suddenly stops for a week or two just as someone's pre-order date finally gets to the top.
February 11, 20215 yr I placed a pre order around August/September last year and am still waiting...is this due to lockdown? Dave

Dave Dave, check your emails. You were sent an invite to purchase on 30/12/2020. It may be in your junk mail? February 13, 20215 yr @tutmeister Would you be prepared to say what stage pre-order conversion to purchase invites is at? In other words, what is the most recent date of pre-order interest to have had an invitation to purchase? I'm trying not to get you to paint yourself into a corner by suggesting when those of us still waiting can expect to be able to order and receive a yoke as I know your preferred response (and understand your reasons for saying it) is "soon". Obviously the situation is fluid with everything going on in the world, but just knowing up to what point you've been able to take payments would be a vague indicator (subject to change) of where things stand.
