So shortly after my little over-sight in St. Barths a few hours ago.  I had the pleasure of getting an opportunity to test flying another DA-62 in some of my favorite colors, so hopped on a plane to go check it out in KSLC.

Hmmm, that NOSE

Beautiful set.

MSFS

crosswind,

I have just purchased 30,000 meters of tape (certified for airworthiness of course) and I am wondering if I may put in a tender or offer for the old wreckage.  I also have 3 cans of automotive paint in assorted colors (also airworthy of course) and I reckon I can put your old aircraft together without having to buy expensive replacement parts.

I am also in the market to buy the Statue of Liberty AND the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

crosswind,

can I also buy your copy of MSFS2020 ... mine does not have the same colors and I suspect automotive paint will not fix that.

Thanks for another brilliant set of screenies

Beautiful series!  Do NOT scrape the paint on THIS one.  I have it on good authority that the original painter will NOT touch it up for you. 😉

you should not need too much paint for touching her up...Some grey primer for the under belly would work just fine.  Some extra buffing on those props "might work" but being of a composite material buffing may not prove to be beneficial, a few engine runs will verify that ..LOL

Will you use the spare tape to recreate a sim. I may have some spare LOL I will definitely have some leftover paint if grey Primer is all I need.  Can you tell me which brand passes all airworthiness tests?

Thanks Rich, just trying to get some play time in as the work schedule has me a bit on the busy side, so I put in about 20- 30 min when I can.

LOL.....the spare tape will surely be put to good use in the future, although I have been warned by the previous owner of this new aircraft that he will not take to kindly to me scraping and dinging his hard work 😁

But I am sure once Baby blue gets back in the air she;ll be as good as new.  Although I see so new liveries with Rob's recent DA-62 mod release.  Have you tried the new mod?  I probably won't get around to dabbling with it for a few days.

Mate,

I was under the impression that Robs DA62 was due for release this weekend? If in fact it has already been released, could you give me a link to it please.

Whilst, I have not been following this closely, I am certainly very keen to try it out.  That too is an understatement, because I am very sure it will become a permanent part of each day for me,  His work is absolutely outstanding.

You are absolutely correct, guess I let the excitement consume me and missed that part.  Really looking forward to it though.
