It is also amazing how people feel the need to belittle an issue if it doesn't affect them - very helpful. 🙂  If it doesn't affect you, just read over it and move on rather than try to ridicule the issue.

The problem  ist that these minor and - objectively - insignifcant issues are then amplified by a million posts to the level of something THAT ASOBO MUST FIX RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!! - thus distracting and taking time away from the - again: objectively - more important issues that need fixing.

I also have a really poor internet connection of about 3MB/s

I hazard to say that this might be your problem. The sim is just not receiving data quickly enough for a smooth experience. Just like buffering on a streaming video or movie. I think Asobo state a minimum of 10 Mb/s.

You are right.  That is undoubtedly the cause.  Unless OpenReach (the infrastructure provider) get their finger out, I have no chance until 5G comes around.

The sim took a number of days to initially download, but it is well worth it of course.

I am experimenting with photogrammetry and Azuze ATC turned off at the moment.  Although there is some loss in visual quality without photogrammetry, but it is bearable, and is leading to a surprisingly smooth ant stutter free experience up to now, so that may be a solution for people like me with slow connections, and stops the word not allowed spinning circle every few seconds.

Windows voice pack instead of Azure for the ATC is also very responsive.  Although my default pilot voice is a bit high pitched now - it sounds like the guy is sitting on his Testicles! 😄

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I have to respectfully disagree with the approach, man.  I'm not knocking you but I do think this is a bit of an overreaction.  Now I am not one to cotton whining, childish posts that do more to illustrate the sense of entitlement of the poster than illuminate anything or provide useful information for the community or Asobo to help address / mitigate.  Look for RNA_Errors on the official and alpha forums and you'll see what I mean 🙂  That being said i think as a community we need to not jump the gun and shutdown anyone with an issue or gripe regardless of how insignificant it may be to anyone besides the OP.  This is hardly an angry petulant post, the guy genuinely wanted to confirm his suspicions regarding the source of the issue that is irritating (I know on the rare occasion I've seen this it does tend to demand my attention given that its in the cockpit) him.  If you remove the responses that are not constructive this would have been resolved in a single page (not a full one) of forum space.

I don't have all the answers (just the ones I could fit written on the palm of my hand and forearm) but I do think it better to give the benefit of the doubt than to unload a mag right out of the gate.  Just my $10.00 (tempus fugit and I"m self-employed) of bathroom wisdom, take it FWIW or flush it and move on.

And hey, all of us at AVSIM are on the same page for the most part, its the official forums where all sense of reason is frequently absent from the discussion.  For the old timers,: Yes AVSIM is actually far less confrontational and brutal than those forums!  Who'd have thought?

It only happens the times that Bill Gates is spying on the user.

As if reading my emails isn't enough for him?!  Is there no end to his intrusiveness??? 😁

If Google published the sim, then web cameras would be watching to see what we looked like before responding.

Amasing how ppl, get frustrated by something totally insignificant.

The reason it annoys me is because whenever it pops up it catches my attention, but it has no use, there's nothing for me to do when it shows up the sim just continues running.
