March 24, 20215 yr The mod is quite good and the plane fly fine, but I find landing it very difficult, I have to force it down, otherwise it floats and floats until it stalls, does anyone have any tip on how to best land this aircraft? March 24, 20215 yr I am pretty new to FS2020, is this mod pretty easy to install without screwing things up in the simulator? Thanks.
March 24, 20215 yr Very easy and safe just rename the layout.json file in the main longitude folder (not the community folder) to layoutdef.json then copy the layout.json file in the download to that folder When you have any updates to MSFS be sure to delete the layout.json file and rename the layoutdef.json back to layout.json before you start the install or your installer will reinstall the Longitude aircraft about 1gb Official instructions below New Installation or Upgrade Installation From V1.2 through V1.82 - OnAir Virtual Airline Version**: 1. Strongly recommend backing up all of your default Asobo Longitude files in the \Packages\Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-longitude, especially the default Asobo layout.json file. 2. Over-write the "layout.json" file in the LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-longitude directory with the included new layout.json file I've provided. 3. IMPORTANT: Remove prior Longiude modification packages or you will have conflicts between prior version and the OnAir version. 4. Copy the "aircraft-longitudefdefix_OnAir" Folder into your \LocalCache\Packages\Community folder. 5. If applicable, remove my prior landing and taxi lighting enhancements folder "Landing-Taxi Lights Enhancement" (if you prefer the Asobo defaults). This will not prevent you from enjoying the upgraded lighting included with this mod package. 6. Go flying! regards Edited March 24, 20215 yr by Denwagg Denwagg Steam MSFS 2020. March 24, 20215 yr This has been my everday goto airplane for the last 3 months. The modifications that have been made are outstanding. I really like the Cessna CJ4 but not familiar with the FMC so I have grown to really like the FMS in the Longitude. Much easier to navigate. A joy to fly. There are times when I'll just go to an airport and do touch and goes for an hour or so because I enjoy hand flying it. Try it, you'll like it.

Did a short flight with the Longitude, and it behaved much more predictable, plus he managed to restore some of the range that the Longitude has. I've been using his mods for months. I hope he doesn't get frustrated and stop with the monthly breaking of the sim. March 25, 20215 yr I installed the mod and the plane flies great. The only problem I am having is when loading an RNAV approach the Localizer and Glide Slope needs are reversed. This is with the WT G3000 mod. Any ideas? Thanks.
April 21, 20215 yr So you know, I have not experience ground issues after that flight. I believe the sim downloads data from the internet when you enter an area... see the spinning circle in the lower right corner. They call it RollingCache.
