November 30, 20205 yr This guy is dilligently at work improving the Longitude, squeezing juice out of the limited access to the files. Did a short flight with the Longitude, and it behaved much more predictable, plus he managed to restore some of the range that the Longitude has. Link to the mod: https://flightsim.to/file/3655/asobo-cessna-citation-longitude-flight-dynamics-modifications-project-version-1-0 Improvement is ongoing. Link to discussion on the MSFS forums: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/cessna-citation-longitude-flight-dynamics-modification-project/325768 I also found a nice livery on flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/4135/citation-longitude-n616np Cruise pic:
November 30, 20205 yr Thanks for this Ricardo! Dylan Charles "The aircraft G-limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular airplane. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no G-limits."
November 30, 20205 yr This is indeed good news. Thanks for the headsup. Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

Modding the core files has screwed up many installations with even more problems trying to reinstall the whole sim. No thank you... November 30, 20205 yr I have seen this and was excited to try it (I already have the awesome livery!) but.... the other thread haha... I'm still working on getting sim back up and running. December 1, 20205 yr I just completed a flight from KJAX to KMSY. Only climbed to FL330 but most everything worked. The AP dropped out as I reached Cruise Alt, but I reset it and it was smooth sailing. I was not able to get the Mach readings on the AirSpeed Tape. Clicking on the SPD button was NoJoy. Otherwise I enjoyed the flight. The Logbook even logged the flight. ha. I personally don't care for the new paint job, just a little to busy for me. There must be one between the default and the zigzags. Thanks to all involved in making this mod workable. Does anyone have some basic speeds they can post for Vr, climb speeds and profiles, expected FF at ALT. Descent Profiles, speeds, etc. Sure would be nice to have some references. Regards, Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

Apart from the fuel flow and the Temps running high on takeoff this is the only semi working jet aircraft since the last patch.. The mod may be amazing but I'm passing on this as well. Will wait. December 1, 20205 yr Just installed this. It works really well and all you need to backup is 1 file that gets replaced. It flies much better and is much more realistic. Well done! SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

Maybe once he get's it more refined he'll mod it to work from the Community folder. You only need to replace one file in the core folder. Rename that file and put it back in before you launch the sim to patch it. The rest goes into the community folder.
