It certainly looks good from x000s of feet and for the price might be tempting ----- when Queensland is offered and we have Eastern Oz complete I noted that S,A, was experimented on It sort of reminds me of the original Orbyx red /blue /green and Gold offerings way back in 08 - the prelude to Aus 1 Assumption is for P3D V4 only at this time - and are the transmission from one area to another - seamless ??
December 17, 20205 yr Have been using Orbx Central since its very beginning and it is improving all the time by adding scenery and software from various developers. I have Orbx Australia 2 and New Zealand as well as all the major airports and some smaller ones for both countries. As far as photoreal scenery is concerned I have all the Gibson scenery but disappointed that there is no coverage for the whole country by any developer and cannot understand why Queensland. South and Western Australia have not been created, ditto with New Zealand. December 17, 20205 yr I'm a fan of the Gibson Sceneries stuff. Allows huge parts of NSW, ACT, VIC, Tassie and NT to be covered by aerial imagery scenery. The resolution is lower, so that it saves disk space. Yet at cruising altitudes you get a close approximation to looking out of a real aeroplane window. Another bonus is that you can choose a layer to allow landclass to pop through at lower altitudes. Works well with Orbx Aus v2, so that it isn't just flat aerial imagery on departure / approach either from / to an airport. December 18, 20205 yr Author It looks like they have a demo. I might give that a try. As Rogen mentioned, there are Megascenery titles as well. Looks like they are half off right now. I really like their V3 state regions. Color matching is much better than TE on the west coast; no red :>}

While it’s nowhere near top payware quality, it’s better than default, and is doing the job nicely until the Orbx version comes out, whenever that maybe.
