So I cant use FSUIPC for the auto pilot controls on my Bravo? That sucks that was kinda the reason I bought it.

I wanted to know if I am better off using the default MSFS UI to set up all of my controls or should I run everything through FSUPIC?

That does not seem at all consistent with your original post.

From what I’ve read, the FSUIPC team is waiting on the SimConnect team to add support for LVARs, HVARs, etc. so you could try waiting. No idea how long it’ll take. The only alternative I know of to waiting is using Axis and Ohs.

Use vjoy, works perfectly fine here.

LVARS work with spad.next beta right? At least they do with my class echo device.

The WT CJ4 AP mode buttons operate via HVARs. I tried both LVARs and HVARs, and only HVARs worked. The WT devs confirmed to me that only HVARs worked at the time. This was a week or two ago. I don’t know if Spad supports HVARs.

What is SPAD and HVARS?

By Spad I mean Spad.next. I was responding to @Ianrivaldosmith

By HVARs I mean HTML variables. Those are what you have to use to trigger the AP modes in the WT CJ4 from outside the sim.

So I need AxisandO's to work the CJ4 mod AP functions on my bravo and not SPADNEXT?

Ron, others will have to answer that. I have not used AxisAndOhs or SPADNEXT, nor have I tried to set up key or button bindings for the CJ4 AP. I'm hoping FSUIPC7 will eventually be able to help with that.

The Working Title CJ4 is probably IMHO the best and most realistic of all MSFS2020 aircraft to fly. Also Honeycomb produce some of the best flight control hardware available. What is URGENTLY required is for someone to produce a video explaining  how to use such things as AxisAndOhs or SPADNEXT to get the Bravo Throttle up and running with the CJ4. For an ex pilot in his seventies computer programming was not part of our training! Help please!

This looks interesting and I'm surprised no one as yet has responded to your post. I'm expecting delivery of my Bravo TQ at the end of February so will certainly give some thought to this. Please keep posting to this thread if you have further news.
