GSX with AIG AI

Featured Replies

Hi...

Is there any way to get GSX jetways to dock with AIG AI aircraft?

Thanks

Ben

I had a bug with GSX and AIG AI last weekend. Disable GSX via the ingame menu in P3D and reenable it again, after that jetways are docking again,

There's an option somewhere you can enable but I think it is in SODE.

OS=WIN11 Home, Sim=P3D5 5.3 (P3D4 and FSX for install reasons)
Addons=ORBX, ASCA, AS, TOGA and tons of sceneries, aircraft

MB=Gigabyte AORUS Z790 Elite AX, CPU=i13900K, Cooling=Be quiet! Pure Loop II FX
GPU=KFA2 RTX3090 24 GB, RAM=64 GB DDR5-5600, HOTAS=Logitech G Saitek X52 Pro

Sure. Here it is. First open the SODE APP (the green SODE Platform Manager Application)

Then proceed as followed at set "Enable AI Traffic Detection=TRUE". Maybe you have to "Expand" the submenus if you only see menu titles as in grey at screenshot 2:

Does this have an impact on FPS and VRAM? Basically is it going to make SimWings EGLL unusable...?!

Try it and find out, it also depends on how much traffic you have. It all sure looks better with jetways attached.

i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200,  RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

yes.  this feature definitely is a big increase for the immersion factor.

5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW  and 2  22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU,  360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

What i have found is that it drops FPS considerably when you load up the sim as all the jetways connect at once, but after that, the impact is minimal.

Also, you need to make sure the aircraft in question have the [exits] section of the aircraft.cfg file properly configured.
